Uvini Ranaweera is a Graduate Researcher at the School of Computing and Information Systems, University of Melbourne. She graduated from the University of Moratuwa in 2024, summa cum laude, with First Class Honours in Business Science, specialising in Business Analytics. She has worked as a Research Analyst at Acuity Analytics, Colombo, where she applied her data science expertise in investment research, and later joined the Department of Decision Sciences, University of Moratuwa, as a Lecturer in Data Science. Uvini's research focuses on natural language processing and data-driven decision-making with a particular emphasis on applications in database systems and analytics.
